Behind the Lens

Hi, I'm Matt, the photographer behind In View Photography!

Photography has become a way for me to combine my attention to detail with my passion for capturing meaningful moments. Whether I'm photographing the energy of a live theater production, the excitement of a sporting event, or the personality of someone in front of my camera, I enjoy finding the moments that deserve to be remembered.

Outside of photography, I work as a Director of Data & Impact, where precision, creativity, and attention to detail are part of my everyday work. I bring that same mindset to photography, taking pride in producing professional, high-quality images while making each experience comfortable and enjoyable.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll likely find me spending time with my dogs, Jerry and Charlie, enjoying a night of bowling, or getting involved in local theater.

For me, photography is about more than taking a great picture. It's about creating something that brings a smile to someone's face the moment they see it. That's what I hope to accomplish with every session.
